Welcome to one of the Pacific
Northwest's most treasured secrets: the Stanwood Camano Island area!
Stanwood's rich tapestry is woven of our Scandinavian heritage, multi-generational farms, light industry, a thriving art and theatre community, and our proximity to impressive mountains and beaches. We have a great location on the I-5 corridor: just an
hour's drive south takes you to Seattle and all it has to offer, while an hour north gets you to historic Bellingham, just a short drive from the Canadian border.
The Stanwood-Camano School District is proud of its AAAA high school, with a large variety of academic, fine arts and sports programs for your children. We have 2 middle schools and 3 elementary schools in Stanwood, and an additional 2 elementary schools on Camano Island.
Take the quick drive through Stanwood and across the Mark Clark Bridge (no ferry lines to wait in!) and
you're on beautiful Camano Island.
Stay in one of the many bed and breakfasts while you vacation or search for your perfect home. Visit the west side, with views of the Olympic Mountains, Whidbey Island and spectacular sunsets, then check out the east side for views of the Cascades and impressive sunrises.
Whether you enjoy kayaking, clamming, biking, hiking,
bird watching, beachcombing or any of a
myriad of outdoor activities, Stanwood and
Camano Island have it all!
Properties NW we welcome your visit to
our beautiful area, and hope you like it as
much as we do. We look forward to having you
as our neighbor!
